TOP 5 THINGS TO DO THIS WEEKEND (7/12-7/14)

  1. PARENTS NIGHT OUT. Child care is provided at the YMCA for children 6 weeks -12 years old from 6pm – 9pm. Parents, take this chance to do some shopping, have a date night or give your children a fun night at the YMCA this Friday (6pm)! Kids enjoy a night of fun filled activities.   2. HOT SUMMER NIGHTS. Bring the whole family out to the Noel Heritage Plaza this Friday for music by ‘Basin Big Band’. The concert starts at 6pm. Admission is FREE!
  3. TALL CITY BLUES FEST. Tall City Blues Fest is an original American music festival packed with showcases of award-winning talent and a signature event for downtown Midland, TX. Proceeds from the educational workshops that are taught by performers during the Fest go to Midland College for KIDS’ College scholarships. It is this Friday thru Sunday in downtown Midland.   4. MOVIES IN THE PARK. Enjoy a FREE movie at Hill Park in Monahans. This week’s feature presentation is “How To Train You Dragon: The Hidden World”. The movie begins at dusk. Concessions will be available.
  5. “DESCENDANTS 3”. Children will be able to participate in a variety of activities including a craft project to create their own personalized back-to-school pencil cases, along with a custom photo booth and other exciting games and surprises. Face Painting by Maribel will also provide fun, temporary tattoos. This event does not include live character appearances. It is this Saturday (2pm to 4pm ) at Midland Park Mall (JC Penney Court).
