If you aren't familiar with Jacob's Well it is one of those little geographical anomalies that exist as trivia tidbits for small towns.  It is basically an underwater cave in Central Texas that is insanely deep.  I remember visiting there as a kid and people saying it was deep and that several scuba divers had died trying to explore it.  I had completely forgotten about it until I came across this scuba video:

And that is just the part you can easily get to without special equipment!

Here is the description of the video for those interested:
Jacob's Well is considered a dangerous underwater cave for novice or non-cave trained SCUBA divers with at least eight divers having died in the system. At the present,
four chambers have been explored, the last of which ends in a too narrow
restriction for divers to continue. To date, 8 divers have perished exploring the well.

Having a kid at The University Of Notre Dame has made me a bigger Irish fan than I was for sure.  It's a school steeped in traditions, and the football program started a new one last year that I look forward to every week during football season.  I give you "Trick Shot Monday"...

One of the kids called out at the end is the son of famed basketball star David Robinson.

Go Irish!

Buzzfeed asked a group of kids to imagine what being an adult is like. Their answers were so precious. I only wish adulthood actually had more ice cream.

Our little doggie Sadie, has become my mother’s little doggie Sadie.  Mom took her when she moved to Alamogordo, New Mexico because we were going to be tearing the house up and that would have driven Sadie crazy.  But she has been with mom and mom’s little dog Maggie since March.
Mike and I talked about getting another dog.  We did NOT want a puppy.  We wanted just one small dog that was already trained.  Then Beth from Lonestar Sanctuary for Animals called.  Beth said the perfect dog for us had just come in!
We went out to see her and fell instantly in love!  BB (for Baby Bear) is a Pomeranian – Pekinese mix that is so adorable we didn’t stand a chance.  But another doggie came in at the same time, a schnauzer – terrier mix and we fell in love with him too.  What to do?  They were in quarantine for another 2 weeks anyway so we didn’t have to make a decision right away.
Over the course of the next two weeks BB and Augie grew very attached to each other.  If Augie couldn’t see BB he would cry!  So we ended up getting both dogs.  Did I mention they are BOTH un-trained 2 month old puppies?  Beth knows a couple of suckers when she sees them!

I'm a proud second generation Red Raider.  My Daddy really only gave me 2 choices for higher education, MC or pack it up & head to Lubbock... yeah, I chose Lubbock ;)

I love the excitement surrounding our football program these days.  Here's the "hype" video that was released earlier this year.

I really needed a laugh today, and luckily I found it with this video.  It has all the necessary ingredients for humor: A guy with a British Accent, an adorable soulful eyed dog, and a spaghetti and meatball eating competition between the two.  Who will be the victor? Man or adorable beast?  Will they recreate the spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp? (Spoiler Alert: yes they do)

Apparently this is just one of a series of food type challenges, some with the dog, but most are just a group of British guys eating weird weird stuff.  All of their videos are on their YouTube Channel.  Be warned, the "Vomit Alert" in some of those titles means exactly what you think it means.
