When Keith Urban played the House of Blues inNew Orleans earlier this week, it was a packed crowd of 350 and so intimate, fans at the back of the room could spot the hole in his Johnny Cash T-shirt. I hear Keith was also the sweatiest guy in the place.

INSIDE JACOB'S WELL

If you aren't familiar with Jacob's Well it is one of those little geographical anomalies that exist as trivia tidbits for small towns.  It is basically an underwater cave in Central Texas that is insanely deep.  I remember visiting there as a kid and people saying it was deep and that several scuba divers had died trying to explore it.  I had completely forgotten about it until I came across this scuba video:

And that is just the part you can easily get to without special equipment!

Here is the description of the video for those interested:
Jacob's Well is considered a dangerous underwater cave for novice or non-cave trained SCUBA divers with at least eight divers having died in the system. At the present,
four chambers have been explored, the last of which ends in a too narrow
restriction for divers to continue. To date, 8 divers have perished exploring the well.

KENNY CHESNEY DIRECTS FOOTBALL DOC & MORE!

Kenny Chesney co-directed a football documentary about South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier called The Believer and it airs tonight on the SEC Network.

Brad Paisley’s well known for his tour pranks and a memorable one was in 2011 right before opener Darius Rucker sang. Brad's crew smeared his mic with hunks of stinky Limburger cheese then as he sang, a large guy in a diaper sprinkled Darius with purple glitter and confetti.

Carrie Underwood says her iPod’s full of random tunes like the Supremes and Four Seasons because of her mom, CCR and the Stones because that’s what her dad played growing up, there’s also 80s rock and rap because Carrie says that’s what her husband likes.

Toby Keith’s opened Big Dog Daddy’s Ice House in Norman, OK, a sports bar named after one of his tunes. The menu includes Philly cheese steaks, pizza and burgers.

Jake Owen says his favorite character from a box of cereal is Fruit Loops star Toucan Sam.

TRICK SHOT MONDAY ND

Having a kid at The University Of Notre Dame has made me a bigger Irish fan than I was for sure.  It's a school steeped in traditions, and the football program started a new one last year that I look forward to every week during football season.  I give you "Trick Shot Monday"...

One of the kids called out at the end is the son of famed basketball star David Robinson.

Go Irish!
