Thanks for listening to KICKS 99.1! This is truly a family effort, not only our radio family with whom we have worked for more than 20 years…but you, our listener family as well. We have watched many of you grow up and start families of your own. You have trusted us through the years to entertain and inform you and hopefully make you laugh. We have had such fun with KICKS 99.1 because we believe in live, local radio that plays the Country Music YOU want to hear. We want you to know that we always listen to you too!

We were honored by the Country Music Association with 4 nominations for the “Broadcast Personality of the Year” award and won it in 1996! And we were the first winners of the Country Radio Broadcasters “Personality of the Year” award in 2000. And after being on the air for less than three years, KICKS 99.1 received the nomination for “Station of the Year” by the CMA in 2004! And we have been recognized by the Academy of Country Music with the "Broadcast Personality Of The Year" award in 2007! More importantly we have been honored right here in our own community in more ways than we can say. So, Thank You West Texas for making us feel like family.
