Do you know what the one question you can ask that will separate your true friends from casual acquaintances?
"Who wants to help me move?"
As a guy who has moved half a dozen times in as many years I've heard my friends and family give the whole range of excuses from the lackluster "I have a thing that day" to the straight up "I'm completely free but I'm still not going to help you move." An investment in some reusable plastic containers and a sturdy hand truck can save a lot time and a lot of back pain. But no matter how terrible you think a move will be it never is as bad as you think... especially if you are looking forward to your destination. That new destination for me is Midland and Kicks 99. In the week or so I've been here I've gotten to enjoy some West Texas sun, West Texas snow, West Texas wind (all in one day!)... listen to some great Music and meet some even greater people. I look forward to settling in and actually being able to unpack those plastic containers for once... and I'm looking even more forward to the day when I can give somebody else an excuse to not help them move.
Thanks for having me and I look forward to meeting you all.
