The new World Trade Center tower, or One World Trade Center as it is officially known reached it's full 1,776 feet height earlier this year. I was lucky enough to have spent several years living in and around New York City and got to watch it's construction as it rose higher and higher in the City's skyline. It may be everything associated with its existence but it really did seem to shine brighter than the skyscrapers around it. Even from a distance your eye is immediately drawn to it. Watching story after story being added as it just seemed to organically grow higher is something I'll always remember. (It was about 30 stories high when I moved up north and about 90 when I moved away. Finished it stands 104 stories tall).
