Garth’s former 20-year business partner, Lisa Sanderson is suing him and she says he passes himself off as a “humble and highly principled man'" but he's really a "paranoid, angry, deceitful and vindictive" man. She says he torpedoed great opportunities because of his ego, even being offered a role in ‘Saving Private Ryan,’ but said no because he wanted to be the star. She now wants $425,000 in unpaid bonus, salary, and punitive damages. She also says Garth is a tax fraud.
In light of that bombing yesterday at the Boston Marathon, many country stars like George Strait, Martina, Lady A and Jake Owen all took to Twitter to say they were praying for all affected. Brad Paisley wrote this, “could there be anything more cowardly than planting a bomb in a public place and running away? These terrorists are the epitome of cowardice.”
