TOP 5 THINGS TO DO THIS WEEKEND (1/11-1/13)

  1. PARENTS NIGHT OUT. Parents, take this opportunity to do some shopping, have a date night or give the kids a fun night out. It is this Friday night from 6pm tp 9pm at Midland YMCA. Child care will be provided at the YMCA for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Family members are $10 per child. Program participant: $20 per child. To register call (432) 682-2551.
  2. CONCERT: MIKE RYAN. The show is this Friday night at Dos Amigos. Tickets are $10 in advance. $12 at the door. They are available HERE.
  3. MIDLAND DOWNTOWN FARMER’S MARKET. Come out and shop local vendors, grab a hot dog or cold beverage, farm-to-table breakfast and enjoy live music. Kids and dogs are welcome! It is this Saturday from 8:30am to 12:30pm at the Museum Of The Southwest.
  4. BLOOD DRIVE. January is National Blood Donor Awareness Month. Blood supplies are very low. Give the gift of life this Friday and Saturday (12:30pm to 5pm) at the Ector County Coliseum for Bulls, Blood and Heroes. Anyone who donates blood will get a pair of tickets to the Sandhills Stock Show & Rodeo, while they last!
  5. HEART MATTERS: TEEN SCREENING. Did you know that 20 minutes is all it takes to conduct a heart screening? Any active teen ages 14 to 18 is eligible for this FREE screening. It is this Saturday from 9am to 1pm at Midland Memorial Hospital. Get more info and sign up HERE.
